DOYLE V. TRANKINA -- There are countless artists living in Southern California. But Doyle V. Trankina is someone really special. Doyle excels in drawing and sculpting. He has created conceptual artwork for the entertainment industry, designed toys and depicted the wonders of nature. His primary focus, however, has been in the reconstruction and restoration of extinct life forms. Doyle worked at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County as both a fossil preparator and sculptor, and examples of his work can be seen on display in the museum's halls.
