TONY MALANOWSKI – Some film and video editors are strictly technicians, following the dictates of a script, director, producer, and even actor. Others are artists who bring their own vision to the craft. Tony Malanowski is one of the latter. While he has “cut” motion pictures – e.g., NIGHT OF HORROR (1981), THE BATTLE OF BUNKER HILL (2009) and DINOSAUR VALLEY GIRLS (1996). A multi-talented “Jack of all trades,” Tony wrote, produced, directed and edited the cult horror film THE CURSE OF THE SCREAMING DEAD (1982), aka CURSE OF THE CANNIBAL CONFEDERATES. But Tony has also had to bring his artistic abilities and good judgment into play when restoring for reissue and home video release numerous classic TV series for which the original elements no longer existed, including SEINFELD and Disney’s DAVY CROCKETT, making them look and sound as closely as possible to when they originally aired. So if you “just can’t cut it,” we know someone who can – and will do a great, “cutting edge” job!
